"Anne, I'll shake you if you don't grow coherent. Redmond would be ashamed of you. WHAT has happened?"

"Thank you kindly. 'Twill be a real treat, Mistress Doctor. I mostly has to eat my meals alone, with the reflection of my ugly old phiz in a looking-glass opposite for company. 'Tisn't often I have a chance to sit down with two such sweet, purty ladies." | [This story was originally published on our sister site PocketGamer.biz]For two days in early July, the West Coast will be celebrating.No, not the Fourth of July weekend - though there's no doubt that'll be splendid - but rather the arrival of Steel Media's Pocket Gamer Connects San Francisco (#PGCSanFran) which runs on July 7-8.That's because we've got two days packed with content that no sane member of the mobile gaming industry should miss out on.From 5 tracks –East Meets West;Indie Survival Guide;The Future of Mobile Gaming;Acquire, Engage, Monetize;The Superstar Sessions filled with 84 sessions and 108 speakers, and 500+ delegates representing all the key players from the mobile gaming world, our conference covers every facet of the industry.Then there are the fringe sessions and events.Whether it's The Very Big Indie Pitch competition, the I Love Indie Showcase expo area, the exclusive Speakers Dinner, or the all inclusive after-show Pocket Gamer Party, there's always something on.It's an explosive mix set to rival the best pyrotechnics money can buy.Come sample it yourself: right now, PGC San Francisco tickets are still available."Fol-de-rol," said Doctor Dave, but he spoke with less conviction than usual.

Almost Human has now officially announced that its first-person PC dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock will be coming to iOS.We first heard of Almost Human's intentions to create an iOS port of Legend of Grimrock from a tweet back in 2012. We hadn't heard anything since and presumed that was due to the studio working on a sequel for PC.It turns out we were right. Almost Human said in the announcement today that it didn't want just anybody working on the iOS port, and it was too busy to do it itself.Luckily, a friend of the studio, Juha Pinola, stepped up and has been working on the port for a while now."The game isn’t just a direct port from the PC version of Legend of Grimrock," Almost Human said."We have always felt that the game wouldn't work on touch screens straight out of the box but needed a few custom mechanics to get the benefits of the touch interface."As you can see above, Almost Human also released the first image showing Legend of Grimrock running on an iPad.Regarding a release date, Almost Human could only say it will be ready "when it's done".Dust the cobwebsNow that we know for sure that it's coming, let's quickly go over what Legend of Grimrock is.It plays a lot like the Atari ST classic Dungeon Master, actually. You control a party of four adventurers (of your choice) as one unit, and move in real-time across a 3D grid-based dungeon.There are environmental puzzles to solve, lots of deadly traps to avoid, and of course, loads of enemies to battle. Expect to meet huge poisonous spiders, knights, and giant tunnel ogres face-to-face.If you're looking for more information on the game, check out its official website.&#;

Following its release back in July, Matthew Purchase's Interloper has been frequently updated with new game modes and tweaks to the gameplay. The latest is a fairly substantial update and introduces Pilots to the flight combat sim. This news was first spotted by TouchArcade.Purchase says that the addition of Pilots will serve two purposes to the game. The first is to add a greater sense of progression whilst the second is to lay the foundations for longer-term plans for Interloper. I'm intrigued to see what those plans will be. Space Marshall review - "As good as ever"After installing the update, once you start the game you'll automatically be generated a pilot. Accompanying them will be your record within the game including the battles you've won and the number of ships you've destroyed, among other stats.Each time you successfully complete a run, you'll be given a choice of up to three Pilot Perks, which will be permanently attached to your pilot once selected. These perks can include explosive autocannon rounds, avoiding death once per run and increased loot drops. Perks can only be obtained once and have different rarities.App Army Assemble: Interloper - Is this spaceflight sim a total blast?This doesn't just mean that the game will become progressively easier, however. Each time you die your Pilot will gain a Wound. These will apply a variety of negative effects to your Pilot such as unreliable weapons or decreased loot drops. Beyond that, if you accumulate four of them your pilot will be permanently killed and you'll have to start collecting Perks once again.Interloper is available now over on the App Store. It's a premium title that costs $5.99 at the time of writing.Looking for some action-packed games to play on your phone? Here are 25 of the best available for iPhone and iPad

We first caught word of Ittle Dew 2 back in 2015, and the game has since launched on PC and Switch with still no word on a mobile release. We liked the original Ittle Dew quite a bit, so it was a bit of a bummer to think that its sequel wouldn’t be coming to iOS and Android.That all changed last week when developer Ludosity shared a teaser video of Ittle Dew 2 running on Android via Twitter. There’s no word on a release date just yet, but Ludosity’s teasing suggests the game is not far off for mobile devotees.People, how hype are you for this, on a scale from frog to snake?#ittledew2 on #android and #ios ??? pic.twitter.com/stsgm7izLJ— Ludosity (@Ludosity) March 31, 2018 Ittle Dew 2 is a cell-shaded Zelda-like. Crash landed on a mysterious island, protagonists Ittle and Tippsie must explore dungeons, solve puzzles, and fight through any number of dangerous enemies. The game (and its predecessor) is charming and really caters to your nostalgia.We’ll keep you posted on Ittle Dew 2 news as the mobile release draws closer.Access to Download
