We told you last week that it seemed very likely that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night would be heading to PS Vita. And not it has been confirmed.

The $3.5 million funding goal on the game's Kickstarter was reached on June 6th to secure that PS Vita port. It turns out that it won't just be a digital release either as a physical version of Bloodstained will be available for PS Vita too.

With that funding goal reached, Armature Studio (who is handling the port) revealed more of the features that will be included in the PS Vita version of the game.

First off, you'll be able to export the game's music to your PS Vita library so you can listen to it outside of the game.

Secondly, the PS Vita version will have cross-save support with the PS4 version, meaning you can carry on the same game across PlayStation platforms.

Thirdly, there will be touchscreen support for the maps so you can draw on them with your finger.

Lastly, it will be fully compatible with PlayStation TV meaning you can stream it on to the big screen from your PS Vita.

Developer Inti Creates also revealed a new stretch goal obtainable at the $4.75 million mark. Reaching it means a new side story mini-game will be available separately on the 3DS eShop and PSN Store for PS Vita.

However, there are only four days left on the Kickstarter and that goal is about $1 million away. So that may not happen. We'll have to wait and see.

If you're not familiar, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is an exploration-focused action platformer that takes place in a gothic, demon-fill castle.

It's the spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and is being headed by that game's designer, Koji Igarashi.

Read more about it and the PS Vita version in our previous post.

"Won't you let Mr. Ford see your life-book, Captain Jim?" asked Anne, when Captain Jim finally declared that yarn-spinning must end for the time.Pirate Evolution!(Currency increase)"Can you read futures in the fire, Captain Jim?" asked Owen.
This week's Apple Arcade game is perhaps one of the service's most interesting yet. It's called Scrappers, and it comes to us from Q-Games, creator of the excellent PixelJunk series. What's it about? Well, it's about bin men.

It's described as a "hyper-stylised futuristic waste-management beat 'em up", which, c'mon, has to be one of the best concepts for a video game in some time. Bin men are unsung heroes in reality, but in Scrappers' dystopian future, they're seldom welcomed by the locals.

In a world now ruled by robots, old bits of rubbish have naturally spiked in value. Violent gangs have now grasped the opportunity to acquire and sell that which the bin men aim to collect, hence why you'll so often be met with aggressive robot henchmen.

You can go it alone or team up with others to keep the streets clean, and you may need some extra help when it comes to the game's tricky boss fights. By the looks of things, it could prove to be a fairly stressful experience for some, what with its constantly escalating action and onslaught of enemies.

You might remember that Q-Games was also behind one of last year's Apple Arcade releases, Frogger in Toy Town. As I say, I'm a big fan of the PixelJunk series, and the team's games are typically super polished and distinct.

Purely based on the screenshots and brief gameplay I've seen, I really love Scrappers' sense of style and unique premise, so I'll definitely be checking it out when it launches for Apple Arcade later today. Here's a link to the game's store page.

In other Apple Arcade news, updates for Lego Brawls, Stranded Sails, and Secret Oops! are all set to arrive today. Next week's Apple Arcade game is the 3D puzzler A Fold Apart.
Searching for more quality action games? Here are 25 of the best for iPhone and iPad

We haven't heard a thing out of Nintendo about Metroid Prime 4 in a long time, and now we know why - they're not happy about its development. So it's all being thrown out, and the company is starting over.

In the video embedded below, Shinya Takahashi, Senior Managing Executive Officer of Nintendo, explains that the game wasn't living up to the standards Nintendo expected of a Prime sequel, and so the whole development is basically starting over. That means the game will be delayed way beyond 2019- in fact, we have no idea when it'll be released at this point.

"Yes, he's quite ornamental," agreed Miss Cornelia. "Oh, and VERY ladylike. And he thinks that every girl who looks at him falls in love with him--as if a Methodist minister, wandering about like any Jew, was such a prize! If you and the young doctor take MY advice, you won't have much to do with the Methodists. My motto is--if you ARE a Presbyterian, BE a Presbyterian."O, how the channel to the stream gave grace!

Snailboy: Rise of Hermitron made sound like a weird Transformers knock-off, but it's quite a pretty instalment in the Snailboy franchise, and it'll be soft-launching in about a fortnight.
The first in the series, Snailboy: An Epic Adventure, was released three years ago and finally we've got Snailboy's next epic adventure within reach. The shell-obsessed snail has to help his new oceanic buddies to reclaim their world as he gets deep into the gorgeous marine wonderland.

It won't be easy however as the evil hermit crab Hermitron, and his sidekick Harold the barnacle, are determined to keep a grip on their conquered territories.

With 25 levels to sling, slick, and swim your way through it's shaping up to be an excellent addition for the mobile gamer's library. Use your super abilities, collect awesome power-ups, find secret caves (and super-secret treasures), earn achievement badges, and save the Coral Kingdom with style.

Though there's no release date just yet, Snailboy: Rise of Hermitron will be soft-launching in Ireland, Canada, and South Africa in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
