"I can no longer consider you as a friend," said the Satyr, "a fellow who with the same breath blows hot and cold."The Procession to Calvary, which is a spiritual successor to the "Four Last Things", was announced by developer Joe Richardson and is set to arrive on mobile devices in future. In the meantime, there is a plan for a PC version that will be released on April 9th.In the game, you'll basically play within famous pieces of art, taking place in historical time periods. It's essentially a point-and-click adventure game like its predecessor, Four Last Things. There will be puzzles to solve among other things, so have your wits ready to go on this trip through history. What's amazing about it is how it's essentially a painting in motion.In some ways, it reminded of Cuphead, and how I thought it was impressive how they turned a 1930's style cartoon into a game - only Calvary won't be as brutally difficult as Cuphead. This has the same vibes in some ways but focuses on paintings instead of cartoons.Potentially the signature feature of the game is how hilarious it looks. There will be no shortage of humour in The Procession to Calvary. You'll see historical figures doing funny things, and there will be plenty of humorous dialogue too. Even when you run, it looks hilarious - you may not want to just walk anymore.On top of this, there will be an "Optional Murder" mode that you can play through. This will allow you to kill people who throw puzzles your way, allow you to skip the puzzles. However, there will be consequences at times if you do, so if you're going to kill, then do so wisely.And of course, there will be some classical music, which seems to play a big role in the game. Fitting music is always an excellent way to set the tone for any game. The music you hear may not only take you back in time, but it could be funny too, especially under certain in-game circumstances. It's good that Richardson is putting an emphasis on the music.
