4、
Dead Man's Phone is one of the nominees for the EE Mobile Game of the Year award but we've not covered it before on Pocket Gamer. So let's take a look at what the game has to offer.

It's currently available for both iOS and Android in an Early Access/beta form and was recently updated at the end of January to introduce episode two of the ongoing story. The game itself – as the name implies – is a found phone-style game. You'll play as a detective from London, working for New Scotland Yard to investigate and solve murders by rummaging through the victim's phone for various clues as to what may have happened to them.

There are several options available to the player. They'll be able to search through their personal messages, photos and apps to find information that may be useful to your case. Beyond that, you'll be able to conduct interrogations using FaceTime and receive calls through the phone. You can also command your police team on the ground.

-
Rayark's known for high quality mobile experiences that are polished beyond what you'd usually expect on your platform.

Implosion is still one of the best premium ARPG that you can get on mobile and is incredibly satisfying. It even got updated with more content a little while ago with a new campaign and more added to the game for free.

Rayark's now looking at its next game, Soul of Eden, announced earlier this year. It's a mix of card game and MOBA, a cocktail that sounds obviously familiar now thanks to Clash Royale but I'm curious to see how Rayark will approach this genre and if the game is going to be free to play or premium.

It released this short trailer in January:

- Updated 22nd July 16:04 PM: After a bit of a struggle since its release, The Little Fox has smashed its prices completely and has vouched for a free game with IAPs instead.
Only 23 days after its release, The Little Fox dropped from its asking price of £2.29/$2.99 to 79p/99c to totally free. It goes to show that sometimes games are better suited to free models as opposed starting off as premium.

Though its somewhat shaky reviews and negative press can be blamed a little on its first week on iTunes, only time will tell whether the game will pick up now that it's free or whether it just isn't people's cup of tea.

Pick up The Little Fox for free on the App Store here.

In little more than a fortnight after its release, h8games's The Little Fox has dropped in price from its original £2.29/$2.99 to a tidy 79p/99c.

The Little Fox is a neat little autorunner with very simple controls, either tap on the left or right of the screen to move left or right while gathering up the tears of the lost prince.

Despite giving it a mediocre score in our review, with the game's newest update it seems that its original flaw of travelling too fast has been fixed to the point of which The Little Fox is very much enjoyable.
Grab it now on iTunes for 79p/99c.
-
Foursaken Media is pumping out games at a faster pace than almost any other iOS developer out there.

Recently, it brought out All is Lost which was a fun take on the endless running genre thanks to the perma-death nature of its gameplay.

Now Foursaken is getting into... the clicker genre?

Well, not exactly. See, its newest game called War Tortoise is a third person shooter in which you play a tank that needs to shoot down incoming waves of ennemies.

You won't be able to move, instead your movements will be limited to turning your cannon and firing.

But the entire progression system is inspired by clickers like Clicker Heroes. This means that there's a loop of upgrades that will make you spend more to earn more and will even add, in time, companion AIs that do the shooting for you.

It's like a turret defense then with some added clicker inspiration.

As always, the game will make full use of iOS' power with the framerate capped at 60fps on high end devices.

It should hit the App Store this month or early April.

[Source]
!

Dress Up! Time Princess is an upcoming RPG from IGG that's looking to appeal to the predominantly untapped female market. It promises players unmatched dress-up elements alongside a lovely art style and excellent story experience.

The narrative sees players visiting their Grandpa in Paradise Town where they soon discover a dusty old lectern that acts as a gateway between our world and the world of fiction. This leads them to 18th century Versailles where they'll have to battle against the chaos that threatens the kingdom and the lives of the characters you meet there.

Each world players visit will have its own sense of style to immerse themselves in where they'll be able to dress up their character with a range of highly detailed outfits and accessories. It's all highly customisable with a host of styles, patterns and colours to choose from to give it a personal feel.

It's all presented with beautiful 3D graphics that help bring your character and by extension their attire to life. They'll be able to share their fashion creations with other players across the globe by making friends with them in-game.

The game is certainly shaping up to be incredibly popular then and IGG are also hosting a variety of pre-registration campaigns that offer players a plethora of rewards. If the Dress Up! Time Princess manages to wrack up 200,000 pre-registers players will be given Gold, Stamina and a beautiful Bridal Gown Set. There'll also be a lucky draw featuring grand prizes such as a mobile phone worth $1000 and Amazon gift cards!
