Software introduction

The memory of a good deed lives.
It's not everyday that a beautful, multi-platform MMO releases onto mobile platforms, but it turns out that one of the days where it does is today. To celebrate V4's launch we've been provided with some in-game screenshots and a trailer for Pocket Gamer LaunchPad. You can find them all below.

Where V4 stands out from the competition for me is that the MMO is launching crossplay between PC and mobile players, meaning that both are experiencing the same Unreal Engine 4 powered gameplay in co-operation. Well, co-operation is a loose term, V4 launches with not only the PVE campaign, but also PVP and PVPVE experiences where players fight against each other while other dangers exist in the same area.

&#;The moon had just risen when Anne and Gilbert went to the door with their guests. Four Winds Harbor was beginning to be a thing of dream and glamour and enchantment--a spellbound haven where no tempest might ever ravin. The Lombardies down the lane, tall and sombre as the priestly forms of some mystic band, were tipped with silver.

A thousand favours from a maund she drew
We really didn't have to wait long for it as Mega Man 1 - 6 hits out on mobile this week in Japan and the US.

It's almost here! Mega Man 1 - 6 launches for iOS and Android devices January 5th. Pre register here - https://t.co/hC7xlyMiHW pic.twitter.com/DoWSz4vqf5— Capcom Mobile (@CapcomMobile) December 28, 2016 You may remember us talking about it last month but Capcom is bringing the entire Mega Man classic collection to iOS. As you could expect, the news has received a mixed reception ranging from excitement to calls for a new game instead of releasing the old ones.

Ported and revamped for touch screen (complete with touch controls) we'll have to wait and see how they fit into the mobile market. Though we're stoked to be able to carry around Mega Man in our pockets, it's got a lot of expectations to live up to and judging on the first bit of footage, play seems a bit jittery.

Whether its performance is down to the actual game or the recording software remains to be seen - I guess we've only got to wait a couple of days.

Pre-register for the game now. It'll be out on Android and iOS in the US January 5th and Japan January 6th. Most likely the rest of the world'll be close behind but we'll wait and see.

If you need a break between trying on costumes and buying candy, a number of quality mobile games have received discounts this Friday. &#;Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery(Mod Menu)
When Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes was announced at E3 earlier this year we were led to believe it is a card-based battler.

But, hm, looking at the game's debut trailer that doesn't seem to be the case. There isn't a single card in sight.

That said, it seems that Galaxy of Heroes will play more or less like a card-based battler. So we weren't that far off.

You'll be collecting heroes on either the Light or Dark side (you get to choose) to form a team of fighters.

Each hero has their own special attacks and some characters have abilities that complement each other. All of this should be considered when forming your team.

You also need to pay special attention to the leader of your squad. You can outfit them with gear to boost their damage and unlock special abilities to buff your team.
