It looks like post-apocalyptic settings are really trying to settle in with games like The Sun and Survival: Scavenger coming to light these past few months. Enter the next post-apocalyptic contender, Post Brutal, and when you have to put 'no gore' in the trailer title it's probably bound to be pretty brutal.Post Brutal is a 3D action RPG with a fairly standard premise. Banding together with a group of other survivors inside the quarantine zone of Zero City, you have to stay alive long enough in order to unravel the mystery of The Event (a cataclysmic event that turned half the population into zombies).One of the most interesting, and probably hilarious, factors is the ability to put your own face on your character in a totally non-psychopathic fashion. You don't have to rub the lotion on your skin, don't worry.Basically the game brags about its intense and dynamic combat, letting you switch between melee and ranged where appropriate in the midst of a zombie tide. 1、Solo game creator Aaron Steed is working on an Android port of his PC dungeon crawling roguelike Red Rogue.It was originally released on PC back in 2012 but Steed has decided to revisit it recently to do some extra work on it. Other than fixing bugs and adding some extra, this also involved testing it out on a Nexus 7.It works, but he says that it needs touchscreen controls. However, Steed also noted that it works well with an external keyboard.Oh, and as to an iOS port, it's not going to happen. Steed described it as "impossible."Red Rogue is a large project that wasn't meant to be ported. And the Flash exporter for iOS would take years to do the job."Android is only possible because the code translates through the exporter seamlessly," Steed wrote on the TIGSource forums.If you're not familiar with Red Rogue, it has you descend the Dungeon of Chaos to retrieve the Amulet of Yendor.You bump into enemies to kill them, collect various items and gear (including the decapitated heads of goblins), and get a skeleton companion who joins you at the start.You can find out more about it and download it for free on PC on its website.Thanks Christian V.SKATE DOG is an endless runner which, as the name suggests, features a skateboarding dog. It's a high score chaser and you earn points from jumping on enemy's heads - no mean feat when you're so focused on avoiding the many obstacles.When you reach a certain score threshold, you unlock a new area to run through, and can start over from this point when you inevitably reach the game over screen.There's an achievement system similar to that found in Punch Quest or Alto's Adventure. Complete a set of criteria and you'll level up, unlocking currency and new characters.Boss fights are also included in a unique format. You have to avoid a variety of obstacles hurled at you by a vicious cat for long enough until it leaves you alone.We're not sure when SKATE DOG is planned to launch, but it's sure to be a hit when it does. 2、Aspyr and Lucasfilm have announced today that the classic single-player RPG Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords will be heading for iOS and Android on December 18th. Initially released in 2004, KOTOR II was a beloved game on PC and now technology has reached a point where you can play it on your phone with touch screen controls.If you're unfamiliar, KOTOR II takes place five years after the original game after the Sith Lords have hunted the Jedi to the edge of extinction and are within moments of defeating the Old Republic. The last hope is a lone Jedi who is having difficulty reconnecting with the force.
